William (Bill) Raphael Glaser passed away peacefully on October 26, 2023, in Tucson, Arizona at the Veterans’ Hospital. He was 73 years young. He was in the presence of his loving family. Bill was born on April 1, 1950, in Tucson, Arizona, to Raphael and Evalyn Glaser.
Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Laura (Zuni) Glaser, and their two children Blue Glaser (wife Kim), and Michelle Glaser, grandsons Bo, Charlie, Vinnie, Quinton, siblings Mary, Mike (Sue), Steve (wife Luisa), 5 nephews, 3 nieces, and cousins that love him dearly. He is pre-deceased by his parents and his brothers Robert and John.
Bill grew up with his parents and five siblings in Keams Canyon, Arizona and Stewart, Nevada. After graduating from Carson City High School, he joined the Marines in 1968 and was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart. He married Laurie in 1970. Laurie and Bill had their children Blue and Michelle and lived a wonderful life together in California, Nevada, Washington, and Arizona. Bill worked for the Post Office and later Raytheon Technologies. Bill and his wife, Laurie, enjoyed their retirement years in their home that they built together in Corona de Tucson.
Bill had an adventurous spirit. He was a dreamer and loved roping his family into some crazy schemes and many fun family outings. He had a great sense of humor and loved sharing stories with us and reminiscing. He was an avid reader and had many interests. We loved spending time with Bill at all the family gatherings where he always showed concern and sincere interest in our lives. He had a big heart, gentle spirit, a quick wit, and he was always present and available to his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He loved us, and he will be missed beyond measure.

A sibling is the lens through which you see your childhood. You made me laugh Bill. I love you!
When I think of my brother Bill I will always keep these words in mind. "So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart."

A wonderful memory- Bill's family at Blue and Kim's wedding.
Bill was a very special, warm and kind human being. I loved his easy smile, his laugh and the way his eyes lit up when he was surrounded by the people he loved. He had a quiet kind of wisdom and a huge heart. He was the center of a wonderful, funny, loving family and a rare soul who will be dearly missed. Sending Love and prayers of peace to his beautiful family.
