Celebrating the Life of
August 19, 1959 — January 25, 2026
Vincent Anthony Damaroda, 66, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, then moved to Pennsylvania in the mid 1990’s, living in New Cumberland and Lewisberry for 30 years before he made his last home in Boswell, Pennsylvania in 2023. He is the fourth child of European immigrants Vincas Damaroda and Katharina (Brehm) Damaroda, both now deceased. His older brother Johann Peter Damaroda, born in Germany, is also deceased. He is survived by two older sisters, Bridget Anne Damaroda and Angelica (Edwards) Damaroda. Vince has two adult children from a former marriage, Vincent Damaroda Jr. and Katie Coleman along with many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Vince spent his last 30 years with female companion Jami Parks. He was raised as Catholic, with a Lithuanian father and German mother and attended St Alphonsus Church and School, along with being an altar boy during his adolescent years. He was involved with CYO, attended Polytechnic High School, enjoyed taekwondo, and his interest in his Lithuanian heritage led him to join the Lithuanian dance group. Vince “Vinny” was a member of Lithuanian Dance Group Malunas, practicing at Lithuanian Hall, Baltimore, Maryland and participated in many festivals and functions held all over. Growing up in Baltimore before technology took over our world, the family went to the beach every weekend and he spent a lot of time on Dad’s motorboat water skiing, along with fishing and crabbing. Other interests were shooting pool, music (his favorite band STYX), karaoke at local pubs and later had his own karaoke system in his home, and he loved grilling outdoors for friends and family. In the employment world, Vince was a highly talented computer and security systems technician, working at both VA hospital (bio medical technician) and security systems companies in Maryland, then later when he moved to Pennsylvania. Vince loved tinkering and fixing stuff and would fix electronics for family, neighbors and friends. Vince was a fisherman! On local creeks and boat fishing in Ocean City Md and North Carolina and deep- sea fishing in Florida. Vinny LOVED Lithuanian food, favoring Lithuanian sausage and sauerkraut, Kugelis and, of course, Virytas (Lithuanian whiskey). His father’s recipe for the homegrown liquor was preferred by many!! Sadly, he became very ill in his last few years here on earth. His song has ended but his melody remains with us.
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.
