Celebrating the Life of
October 28, 1949 — October 5, 2023
On the morning of October 5, 2023, Victor A Klein III, age 73 of North Coventry Township (Chester County PA), died in the company of his loving husband Ron Mickey and his two canine loves, Piper & Coal.
Victor was born on October 28, 1949, to Victor A Klein Jr. and Mary (Knapp) Klein in Darby, PA. Victor grew up in Drexel Hill, PA., with his five siblings. After Victor graduated from Monsignor Bonner H.S. in 1967, he went on to study Cosmetology, including time studying abroad in London.
After completing his studies, Victor spent over a 50 year career as a successful stylist. He truly loved the work he did and the relationships he built with his many clients. He spent the past 34 years working at Chameleon Salon in Media, PA.
In 1991, Victor met his partner Ron. Over their 33 years together, Victor and Ron built a life filled with love, laughter, fabulous travel around the world and the incomparable joy of being owned by various Scottish Terriers and one Cock-a-poo. Victor and Ron married in September of 2015.
Victor loved hiking with the dogs and, until recently, he would take them on multiple adventures in one day. He also had a very special skill in being able to supervise his husband Ron’s planting of the garden! Victor was predeceased by his Mother & Father, his sisters Victoria and Elizabeth, and his former partner Donald Triglia. He is survived by loving family: his husband Ron Mickey, sisters Theresa (Klein) Werner and Margaret (Klein) Biello, brother William Klein & family, niece Michelle (Werner) Banik & family, nephew Mark Werner & family, nephew Francis Werner & family, niece Dominique Rivera & family and a Chameleon Salon family who he dearly loved.
Victor left an indelible mark on the life of every person he touched with laughter (his was the most irreverent, wicked and fabulous sense of humor, bar none), joy, and love. Victor was the epitome of Living Life to its Fullest, every single day. The best way any of his loved ones can celebrate him daily is to share a Victor story, and to Live, Love, and Laugh – as he did.
A Celebration of Life service will take place in the near future (date, time, location TBD). In lieu of flowers, Ron requests donations be made in Victor’s memory to one of the following organizations he felt strongly about:
All 4 Paws Rescue - https://www.all4pawsrescue.com/support
Natural Lands Crow’s Nest Preserve - https://natlands.org/crows-nest-preserve/
The Trevor Project - Provides Information & Support to LGBTQ Youth - https://give.thetrevorproject.org/give/63307/#!/donation/checkout
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.

Viktor was my IG friend. He said his family included people from Lithuania. He also had the most beautiful dogs - Scottish terriers. I had the same one. We used to greet each other on holidays or we used to talk about American politics, because I wanted to know an American's opinion about certain things happening in their country. He was always praising my country house environment and looking forward to new posts. You will be sorely missed, my dear fellow (labai tavęs truks, mielas bičiuli). My condolences for his family and friends.
There simply aren’t enough words to describe what a fun loving, kind, witty and wonderful person that Vic always was. We were fortunate to be able to have many great and funny moments with him. One that will always stand out is a few Christmas’ ago as everyone was leaving after an amazing dinner and evening. A bird accidentally got into the house, due to taking up residence in the festive wreath on the front door and and gifted Ron and Vic with some holiday chaos of its own. Although we were shuffled out of the house I would’ve given anything to witness the aftermath and what I can only assume to be a frantic Victor trying to shuffle the dogs away from injuring the bird. Fly on Vic and create your own special chaos 💕

It's So Hard to Believe that our Victor is gone. Victor I hope you know How Much We ALL LOVED you and Enjoyed just being and talking to you. Ron you are So LOVED also and you are in my Daily thoughts and and prayers. Please know that we are Always here for you xoxo (Mare-Mare as Vic called me)
On one of Victor’s notorious Birthday celebrations at Chameleon ( which- btw- lasted around 45 days).. lol- I decided to play a joke-on Vic- so/ I made him a wonderful ‘strawberry sponge shortcake’ However; it truly was a SPONGE CAKE! LOL 😂 *watch the video * ENJOY

The gold standard, Vic was the gold standard of living life to the fullest. Vic’s presence was always large and not just because he was tall in stature. He left an indelible mark on all those who knew him with his unique sense of humor and love of all things wonderful. Even as he grew ill, he never wanted to see those close have any tears for him, he would make the most colorful joke or poke fun at himself to cheer you up. One of the last messages I remember laughing at most was when the escaped prisoner was on the loose nearby Ron and Vic’s home, I texted them to make sure all was ok and Vic replied oh no help help, he is holding me hostage…he then said just kidding you know I’m not his type. So many stories , so many laughs. You know he is in the great beyond hanging out and sipping a very salty margarita while petting Ginger, Molly, Duncan and Chance waiting for the rest of us to laugh and see that beautiful smile once more!

Vic’s passion, style and quick sense of humor (and hysterical commentary) instantly connected with me when we met, and he had such a love of life whenever I saw him with you, Ron. Am sending you much love, peace and happy memories. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Many great memories through the years with Victor at family get togethers and events! We shared many laughs and some great times together. His humor and unique personality will be sadly missed! RIP Vic 😞❤️❤️❤️❤️
Victor - Seeing you in the salon always brightened my day. You made this world a better place with your kind heart & soul. The endless smile on your face is an image I will never forget. Until we meet again 🤍
Victor cut my hair for years. Three of my kids are cosmetologist. My son owns a salon and a Cosmetology school in Newtown Square. NO ONE can cut my hair like Victor could. I always said to him, I wish you still did my hair. He would laugh and say my kids would be upset!! He was THE most talented person ever. ❤️
