Travis Lee Stevens from Durham, NC, died peacefully in his family home on Saturday, January 20th due to natural causes at the age 51. He will be greatly missed. He was a beloved son, brother, Uncle T, Dad, Grandpa T, and friend. Travis is survived by his mother, Linda Stevens of Raleigh, NC, his sister and brother-in-law, Melody and Lou Peters of Durham, NC, his nieces, Hannah and Isabella Peters both of Durham, NC, and his daughters Ashley (Jordan) Green of Apex, NC, and Cameron (Patric) Habash of Atlanta, and grandson, Jordan Oakley. Travis had worked in many different trades, but recently he managed his own company, True Blu Service and Repair LLC, of which he was very proud. Travis loved all kinds of sports especially Duke Basketball. He loved all kinds of fishing, golfing, and being outside. He was a,”kid at heart,” and always enjoyed being around kids and coaching and teaching them in various sports. His Memorial Service will on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00am. The service will be held at Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church, 5731 North Roxboro Rd., Durham, NC 27712 with a reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. Travis was a diehard Duke Blue Devil fan so we will wearing Duke colors in honor of him, please feel free to join us if you wish. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made in his honor to Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church.
