With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Tony Wade Johnson on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. He was 64 years old.

Tony was born on January 10, 1961, to Ronald and Patricia (Rouch) Johnson in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was raised in Lima, Ohio, before settling in Toledo, where he remained for the rest of his life.

A passionate Harley-Davidson enthusiast, Tony found great joy in riding his motorcycle. In later years, he embraced the freedom of his electric wheelchair with the same enthusiasm. Skilled in home repair and remodeling, he ran his own home repair business and was also a former employee of Johnson Controls in Toledo.

Tony is survived by his siblings Mary, Vonnie, Margret, and Charlotte; his children Travis, Joshua, Jeremiah (Ben), Tony Jr., Amber, Devon, and Chelsea; his grandchildren Amaya, Mark, Alyciana, Jeremiah Jr. (Lil Ben), Gabriella, Carson, Harmony, Jada, Zoey, Aliviyah, Travis Jr., Freya, Hoadley, Jessalyn, Dylan, Jaxson, and Ethan; and his great-grandchildren Athena and Camden. He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Patricia and his siblings Jan, Butch, and Rhonda.

Tony’s final disposition will be cremation through American Cremation Events. Due to unforeseen circumstances, no formal service will be held; however, a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
