Celebrating the Life of
August 27, 1966 — December 22, 2021
Timothy Mandel Moore, affectionately called Manny by family and Tim by close friends, was the eldest child and only son born to Ivy Holmes (Satchell) and the late Samuel Moore. He was born August 27, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland at City Hospital and departed this life suddenly from complications triggered by blood clots on December 22, 2021 at Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Tim attended schools in Baltimore, Owings Mills and Middle River Maryland. An avid reader and independent learner, he was never enamored with formal education so he exited high school early to follow his unique passion for music production and digital media. Throughout his twenties, he produced numerous hit tracks for popular Baltimore house music artists and was a sought-after producer.
In 1997, he moved to Jersey City, NJ where he worked for a number of tech and media agencies in New York including: Urban Box Office, Verizon, Black Enterprise and Vibe Magazines. He was the ultimate self learner and design thinker; a self-taught web developer, video producer and photographer. His deep knowledge of software and devices ranging across computers, drones, and digital audio/visual equipment made him everyone’s go-to tech and creative confidant. All who knew him will profess that Tim was a talented man with a big heart. He was 100% real! You always knew where he stood on issues.
At the time of his passing, he was a Sr. Experience Designer at the Young and Rubicam media and marketing agency. He enjoyed working there because he felt that his work was acknowledged and appreciated.
Tim was good, kind and believed in fairness yet realized that it does not always lead to success. He was a champion of the underdog and often helped friends and associates with building their businesses. He was gifted, smart and talented and taught himself to accomplish whatever tasks he set out to do.
When asked, his mother stated, “He would like to think that his work made a difference in the world.” He was a lover of science-fiction and music; a civil rights advocate; and was a true and loyal friend to those in his inner-circle.

Continued …… Was moving to NYC for a bout a year and finally moved. We spoke very frequently and when I was making my way in music back in 04-06 when he was creative director at Vibe Magazine he plugged me in to as many power papers as he could . Thing is I never asked . He always believed in my gift , but most importantly my drive & hustle . This man was always kind to me and always willing to teach when I was growing up in the 80’s and 90’s. Man this is messed up . We were so happy making plans together to tear NYC up since ,” Lil cuzz” moved in town……… So many other stories to tell. Know this I don’t know many people who knew but he was always willing to teach , help , and listen to me and give me the real no matter what the topic entailed. Damn man I just was with you a week before pssssssh smh. Rest easy big cuzz !!!!
Manny and my older brother were in a rap group together in the 80’s called “ Bunch of Hardheads”. Try he first time I went to a recording studio with them was around 90/91 at the Basement Boys studio on the west side. Learned the craft from this guy . Since then I stayed in contact with him Manny over the years and consistently . Went to see him in Jersey , NY ……. Man I was just with him when I moved to Ny the week before he went home because I’ve been telling him lil cuzz was moving up
