I met Nana when my son Joel began dating Sydney. She was so sweet and I was so impressed with her making trips up and down the stairs to do the laundry. I loved her sense of humor and kindness to Joel. She was always wanting Joel and Sydney to get married and it was on her mind every time I saw her. As her health and mobility began to become challenged she still laughed and was happy to receive visitors. (That was because Missy would help her get ready she would tell me. ) Missy always made sure Nana entered all dolled up. Her bright red hair was her signature and it fit her personality perfectly. My parents were big fans of Nana and the Yerger family. My mom always wanted to grab the seat right next to Nana. They both enjoyed looking fashionable and gave great attention to their makeup, hair and clothes. If my mom every had a sister I’d say Nana would be it.
Tess is fondly remembered by the Cummings family in Missouri and Kansas. Such a loving person, Tess held her family warmly in the palm of her hand and her family is her greatest legacy. She loved you all so much! Rest in peace old friend!
I will forever miss her laugh. Nana & Carson!

I feel so incredibly blessed to have known and loved Tess these last 2 1/2 years. She brought so much happiness and fun to Little Sisters/Seven Acres. She loved her family immensely and talked about them with such pride and joy. She genuinely cared about others and always asked me about my family. I will miss her dearly: her laugh, her smile, her spirit and her pure heart. Missy, Matt, Sydney, Paige and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Tess will always have a piece of my heart!
It was a blessing to have known Tess, to be her nurse and just to be a part of the light and joy she brought to the world. I'll tell baby Buddha all about her and how he got his nickname when he grows up. I will be praying for your family in this difficult time. She will be missed tremendously.

A collage Mom had made about her being held prisoner in the Philippines during WWII when she was an infant with my Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Lucy.

If anyone knew my Mom, they knew she was a HUGE Johnny Mathis fan. She got to meet him in person after his concert just by chance. She wouldn't let go of his arm, LOL! Thank you Missy for making that all happen.
