Terry Spann, 65, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on January 28, 2025. Born on July 25, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the beloved son of the late Earline H. and Willie Ben Spann.
Terry was a man of strength, resilience, and love, whose presence left a lasting impact on those around him. He was a devoted husband and friend to Brenda J. Spann and father to his three children: Lionel Upchurch, Gloria Holman, and Cartisha Williams. He was also a cherished grandfather to six grandchildren, with his eldest being Erin Green. Additionally, he embraced his two stepchildren, Latasha Lewis (Lance Lewis) and Florence McGregor, as his own.
He was preceded in death by five siblings and is survived by seven, who will continue to carry on his legacy of love and family.
Terry’s life was filled with moments of joy, wisdom, and laughter. He will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to family and his ability to bring people together. His kindness, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and cherish the memories they shared with him.
