We share the news of the passing of Taylor Eugene Atkinson Jr, born July 28,1954 in Atlanta GA. After facing numerous health issues in recent years, Taylor passed away quietly and without pain.
He is survived by his daughter Tiffany Skelton (husband Paul Skelton, and their two boys); his sisters Alicia Blanton (husband Mike Blanton and son Sean), and Cristy Atkinson Carlisle (husband Obie Carlisle and daughter Camellia); his brother Robert Atkinson; and close family friend Fey Ray Ashley. He is also remembered by his aunt, several cousins, and friends who have known him across the years.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date. Those who wish to honor Taylor’s memory are invited to do so in a way that feels meaningful to them.
