August 30, 1970 — August 26, 2023
Tammy Lynn Moats, age 52, passed away suddenly on August 26th, 2023, in a tragic car accident in Boise, Idaho.
Tammy was born August 30th, 1970, to Earl and Marion Wohlmacher, and was one of 14 siblings.
Tammy was an amazing person full of life and energy and loved engaging with and helping others. Her career exploits spanned real estate, coaching others, managing rental properties, and becoming the driving force in a consulting firm. Her most cherished roles were mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband DeWayne Moats and her five children. These include her natural children Bradley Jackson and Sydney Jackson, and her beloved bonus children Zachary Moats, Abigail Jones, and Meagan Moats, whom she thought of as her own. She also had seven grandchildren: Mason, Hudson, (Brad), Clayton (Sydney), Michael (Zachary), Ryan and Theo (Abigail), and Attalie (Meagan).
Tammy loved all of her friends and thought of many of them as family. Nothing pleased her more than catching up with them over lunch or a shopping trip.

Tammy was truly a beautiful lady in every way. I will love you and cherish my memories of you always.

Wishing you were here, I love you

Tammy was always there to show her support. From Ben and mine’s engagement celebration to my bridal shower to our wedding, Tammy and DeWayne were there. Tammy was courageous and daring and she loved boldly. Her love for her family and friends was unmatched. She will be dearly missed.

We had an unspoken language, a slight glance across the room, no words required we just understood. I miss you more than I can express in words; you are my best friend and big sister I love you Tam.

❤️Tammy you were the best cheer mom, cheer coach, and cheer friend. I loved our special talks on the phone before cheer practice and our candid talks after practice. Thank you for always bringing the girls treats and me a coke to practice. I will love and miss you for ever ❤️

Old picture but still a good memory, I miss you a lot

Tammy and I in Nassau, Bahamas for my wedding.
She was such an incredibly kind, fun and smart woman. We shared some fun times long ago. Her daughter was young and her priority. She was working for my friend Brent on Lake Steilacoom. I lost touch with her when she relocated with work and then she met her husband. I would run into her every season at a Seahawks game working the beer area because she so loved her football team. I will miss seeing her beautiful face! I’m so sorry for your loss. Far too young and such a beautiful soul.
Your the best aunt, I’m going to miss all the fun times we had together like all the cheer comps, vacations, family gatherings, ect. I miss you a lot❤️ Fly high aunt Tammy
I can’t remember a party, family event or crazy idea that Tammy wasn’t a part of in the last 17 years. She was one of my first friends when our family moved to Washington (thanks to Sydney & DeWayne) and I will always be so grateful for the comfort, support and friendship she extended to me and my family. She was a great friend, confidant and a lover of Mexican food for bi-weekly lunches! You could always count on her to bring a ton of fun and laughter…her absence leaves a huge emptiness for us all and her loss is felt deeply.
Girl, there simply aren’t any words to tell you what you have meant to me. How much I love you. How much I miss you. How unreal it is that you are gone. I still feel you, I still see and hear you clearly. You are the best friend I’ve ever known. Wise and wonderful beyond your years. You brought so much fun, joy, and love into my life. You were there to catch me every time I fell, you believed in me more than I believed in myself. I’m eternally grateful for every moment we spent together, but I want so many more. I loved your amazing soul. I miss absolutely everything about you. You truly are the most Fabulous person ever to bless my life.
Such a beloved mother and grandmother. We carry you with us in our hearts, Tammy.
