In solemn remembrance, we announce the departure of Stuart Irwin Kaye on February 26, 2024, at the age of 87. A lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY, Stuart served his country with honor in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. He continued his life's work as a dedicated Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service, a role he fulfilled with integrity and commitment. His pursuit of knowledge was evidenced by his studies at Kingsborough Community College. His passions were visiting Las Vegas, watching old movies and TV classics, and spending time with his family.
Stuart's memory will be held in the highest regard by his family. He is survived by his children, Edward Kaye and Elisa Wasserman; his daughter-in-law, Lori Kaye; his son-in-law, Scott Wasserman; and his beloved grandchildren, Madison, Zachary, Sloane, Austin, Jacob, Ryan, and Ethan. He is preceded by his mother, Anne Katzelnick; his father, Frank Katzelnick; and his sister, Elaine Gilbert.
The Kaye family invites you to join them in honoring the life of Stuart at a memorial service to be held on Thursday, February 29, at 2:30 pm, at their family residence, 2 Springwood Place, Holland, PA 18966. The family will observe Shiva beginning on Wednesday through Friday at sundown.
