Stephen Emmett Donaldson, 73, of Thornton, Texas, passed away on February 2, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Steve was known for his incredible storytelling abilities, captivating everyone with his words.
Born on December 23, 1950, Steve led a life filled with adventure and passion. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting and fishing. Steve also possessed a remarkable talent for building and making things, showcasing his creativity and craftsmanship.
Steve is survived by his loving children: daughter, Stacee Taylor, and her husband, Jason Taylor, daughter, Stephanie Coffman, and her husband, Blake Coffman, daughter, Shelby Donaldson, and her fiancé, Nick Padilla, and son, Ryan Donaldson, as well as, 6 grandchildren.
A private ceremony will be held on February 17, 2024, where Steve's ashes will be spread on his lake surrounded by his closest friends and family. This intimate gathering will be a time for remembrance and reflection, allowing those who knew him best to honor his life and share cherished memories.
Steve will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy as a great storyteller and his passion for life will forever be remembered and celebrated by those whose lives were touched by his presence.
