Slawomir Nowak

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Slawomir Nowak, age 58, on January 14, 2025 in Miramar Beach, Florida. He was born on March 31, 1966 in Pinczow, Poland to Daniel and Irena Nowak. He married Regina Kwiecień on July 15, 1988 in Pinczow, Poland. He was a veteran of the Polish army before he worked most of his life as a carpenter before retiring in 2018. His hobbies included fishing, taking care of his boat, traveling to Florida, and watching soccer. He will always be remembered as a charismatic person, devoted husband, and loving father. His radiant smile lit up any room he entered and he loved to make everyone laugh. Slawomir was predeceased by his father, Daniel Nowak and grandparents. He is survived by his wife Regina, his children Klaudia and Michael, his mother Irena, his sisters Mariola and Wioletta, and nephews. Although Slawomir is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

A viewing and farewell will be held at Clary Glenn funeral home, 150 FL-20 E, Freeport, FL on Saturday January 18th at 4 pm followed by cremation.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life with Catholic Mass on January 24th at 11 am at St. Hyacinth Basilica Church, 3636 W Wolfram Street, Chicago, IL.
