Ronald Young

Ronald Young, age 82, passed away on January 2nd, 2024 at his home in Columbus, OH. He was born on November 13, 1941, in Lynchburg, Ohio to Margaret and Elbert Young. Ron was a graduate of Lynchburg Clay High School. Following high school he went to barber school and was a successful business owner. Married Lanean Young on January 10th, 1998 in Xenia, Ohio.
Ron worked at The Pepsi Company in Fayetteville, Ohio for many years. His hobbies were coaching the youth, being an umpire, building houses/construction.

He will be remembered as a man full of life and always on the go.

He is survived by his wife Lanean Young. His children: Brett, Mark, Paul, Keith, David, Adrian Young; Tiffine(Darryl) McCathron; Casanae, O’Dell and Deahmi Guinn.
His grandchildren: Ebony(Tevenn) Jones; Chelsea(Coty) Burton; Kyler(Andrew) Bowman; Devin, Brooklyn, Bailee, Brandon(Serena), Jordan, Briana, Darin(Brandi), Nick(Kylee), and Kyle Young; Jameriah, Deahmi Jr and Dominique Guinn. Many great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his mother and father Margaret and Elbert Young; Three brothers Gary, Galen “Vic”, and Dale Young; and Sister Ava Lee Turner.

We will be having a private visitation for Family and Friends whose lives were touched to celebrate life at Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes: 34 West 2nd Ave
Columbus, OH 43201 on Monday January 8th, 2024 at 4:30pm.
