It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger (Bowlin) Ellis, who left us on September 26, 2024. Roger was a beloved figure, known for his kindness and infectious sense of humor. Roger was a hard worker cutting grass and chasing ass until he met the love of his life Robert Ellis who he was with for 40 plus years. Robert preceded him in death in March of 2024. Roger also left his beloved dog Bentley who he cherished. Together Robert and Roger brought joy and laughter to those around them.
Roger had a unique ability to lighten any room with laughter, leaving cherished memories for friends and family alike. His charitable spirit shone brightly; he dedicated countless hours helping others and making a positive impact in his community. Roger is survived by Brother Eddie Bowlin, Sister Lorene Meighen, Brother-in-Law Douglas Meighen, Nieces Melissa Taylor and Nicole Meighen, Son Bryan Bowlin, and Nephew Brandon Bowlin. His legacy of kindness, humor, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
