Celebrating the Life of
April 4, 1949 — April 1, 2024
Robert "Bob" Bonnell Sr., was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He found joy in spending quality time with his family, including his beloved pets Bella, Petey, and Delilah. Fishing was a favorite pastime of his, as well as watching WWE matches. His storytelling brought joy and laughter to those around him.
Bob worked tirelessly to provide for his family. His dedication and hard work were evident in everything he did, always putting his loved ones first. His kind and generous spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.
Bob's love for his family was immeasurable. He was preceded in death by his brothers William, Frank, and Ralph, sisters Jackie and Kathy, son Russell, and grandson Darrin Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife Judy, who stood by his side for many years, providing unwavering love and support. Bob is also survived by his brothers Joe (Karen) and Charlie (Pat), sisters Shirley (Albert), Janet, Gloria (Wayne), Linda, Charlene, and Tina (Jose).
His legacy lives on through his children Robert "Bobby" Jr. (Heather), Jeanna (Darrin), and Ashley (James), as well as his grandchildren Austin (Jackie), Kayleigh, Madison, Katelyn, Allison, Christian, and Christopher, and great-granddaughters Kiera and Chloe. In addition, Bob leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory forever.
Friends and family are invited to honor Bob's memory at his memorial service, which will be held on April 6, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Congaree Baptist Church on Pine Ridge Drive in West Columbia, South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude in Bob's honor, a cause that was close to his heart.
In the tapestry of life, Bob's thread may have come to an end, but the impact he made will be forever woven into the hearts of those he leaves behind. May his soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was loved and cherished by many.
