Robert was born on March 22, 1963, in Oceanside, CA. to Sheldon and Winifred Reed. From the time he was young Rob always had a smile for everyone he met. he had a bright personality and always brought fun to every occasion. Rob spent his earlier years in Hawaii and moved with his family to Arizona in 1973. Rob went into the Navy from High School in 1979 through 1982. After the Navy Rob went to Radio/Broadcast school and worked as DJ at KEZ a local radio station. He also later did a live 12 Step Program.
Rob was a skilled carpenter and took pride in the work he did for his clients. One of his greatest passions was fishing and being in the outdoors. He shared this love with his family. We all have such wonderful memories of Rob that seem to always involve the outdoors and being together with family. Rob had an especially close relationship with his mother Winnie. He was able to be with her at the end of her life which was difficult but brought a sense of peace. He was able to finish his journey here on earth knowing that he would be with her again shortly.
His Internment with be on October 7, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Punch Bowl National Memorial. Following internment Family will get together at the house of Jeff Pao.
