I also have a memory of Rob taking me fishing in Narragansett Bay in his Boston Whaler when I stayed with him and Cathy in Jamestown Rhode Island. There are so many memories from seeing him graduate from college to him bringing me gifts from his trip to Mexico. I also was able to visit with him and Cathy when they moved to California. Rob was a wonderful cousin and I will miss him with all my heart. Love you all, Cindy and Jim
Sorry for your loss. He must have been a great guy lol

My Dad and me on my wedding day

Going through the Redwoods in CA, during our drive up to Washington State to visit my sister. I was around 11 years old, so my Dad would have been 51 or so.

My Dad fishing with me at his company picnic in Florida. I was 6 or 7 years old. He must have been in his mid-forties. Same age as I am now.
I sure miss those fun times we had fishing and walking the dog. He taught me a lot of stuff about cars. And he helped me on my science project. He was a good teacher I remember him teaching me about football and baseball. I’d sit with him on weekends and he’d let me sip his beer. His favorite snack was crackers with peanut butter and sweet pickles. And occasionally he would splurge on smoked oysters and clams.
I have several fond memories of my Dad. He was silly and goofy and loved to teach me things. He loved animals and would often bring home strays. He loved his grand dogs, including Token (2002-2014) and Teddy (2018-present). He loved being on the water. An avid and competitive sailor in his youth, joined the Navy and later enjoyed fishing in our lake in Florida and then the Skagit River in Washington. He often made Sunday breakfast of pancakes, eggs and bacon. His most famous food that he made for us was a lunch of his own creation. He called them goochenators (unknown spelling). Open faced sandwiches with bacon, onion, tomato and cheese, toasted under the broiler. He had an infectious laugh and in his last days, smiled a lot, especially when he caught site of his wife, my mom, first thing in the morning. He loved foxes and had a couple of stuffed foxes that he snuggled in his hospital bed toward the end. We love you TopPop. You are missed.
