July 11, 1963 — May 11, 2024
Robbie D. Bohanon passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 60.
Robbie was preceded in death by his father, William Walter Bohanon Sr., Mother, Nona Vivian Stroshine, and his brother, William Walter Bohanon Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Jerycha Dawn Bohanon and husband Mark, granddaughter Sydnee, grandson Rhett, daughter, Daryl Amber Armstrong and husband Dalton, grandson, Levi and future granddaughter Lennon, sisters, Natalie Steele (Bill) and Kimberly Graves (Daniel), numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, all of whom he loved dearly and whom loved him dearly.
Robbie graduated from Roswell High School in 1981 and was a proud member of the Roswell Elks Lodge for over 25 years. He dedicated his time and elbow grease to the Elk’s Pool for many years, which is where he spent most of every summer, earning the title of Member of the Year in 2012-2013. Robbie worked in the Service Department of Richland Motors which he greatly enjoyed and loved the camaraderie of his coworkers. He would often send pictures to his family showing what kind of cars he got to work on. He had so many friends at Richland Motors and was awarded Top Dispatcher in 2023.
Robbie was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and rarely missed a game from the time he was a little boy, watching with his dad and cousins. He loved and collected Coca Cola merchandise after following in his father’s footsteps, working for Coca Cola and Pepsi Cola as a teenager and young adult. He loved his “church milk” and playing games with his daughters and grandkids. He was nicknamed “The Wedgie Master” for his relentless teasing of his nieces. He loved seeing his grandchildren flourish in their chosen sports and hobbies.
Robbie didn’t just love the family he was born into, but created a family of friends he spent a lot of time with.
The family would like to thank Robbie’s many family, friends, and coworkers for their kindness and many prayers during this time.
