Obituary
Peter DiPiero, (98) of Clearwater, FL, passed away on January 29, 2024.
He was born on February 27, 1925 in Itatinga, Brazil. He came to the United States in 1962, started his business "Foreign Car Service" in Wilmington at 23rd and Market St which he operated for over 43 years. He loved restoring cars, especially Mercedes 190SL’s, music, and fishing on the beach. He is remembered for his hard work and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Dad was a devoted parishioner of various Catholic Churches and a daily watcher of EWTN in his later years. He and his wife Anne retired to Florida in 1997 where they enjoyed many years of sunshine on the beach.
Peter was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Anne DiPiero. He leaves behind five daughters, Rosely Robinson,Tina DiPiero, Cristina Zahab, Lisa Stefanide, and Elizabeth DiPiero.
The family will hold a celebration of dad’s life to be announced in the near future.
