August 27, 1951 — November 27, 2025
Pauline Campbell-Sims from Accrington, Lancashire, England passed away in Los Angeles, CA on November 27th, 2025, at the age of 74. She was raised in the small village of Huncoat, outside of Accrington. She later received a scholarship to Royal Hollaway College in London for studies in Computer Science, before Information Technology was created. After moving to Los Angeles, CA in 1981 she began working in the field of IT for multiple companies including NBC, 5 Square, and Entertainment Partners. She stayed connected to her British roots by joining a ex-pat group as well as outdoor groups such as rock climbing, rafting, and skiing – the latter being where she met Bill Sims, who she would later marry and have two children with. She stayed ever active in reading, trivia, and word games. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Doris Campbell. She will be greatly missed and will live on in her daughters, Emily and Abigail Sims, her older sister, Elaine Parry and family, and in all of the knit, crochet, and sewn garments she gifted to those she loved. Respects can be paid during her Funeral Service at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church on Coldwater Canyon in Studio City, on Saturday January 10th at 11am. When the Sims moved onto Haynes St, they immediately received an invitation to come barbecue, swim, & begin the Margaritas & Volleyball 4th of July “tradition”. Bill wasn’t sure he wanted to go but Pauline said it was rude not to go if invited. They came & were immediately handed a Margarita & “party” was the theme of Haynes St. Lifestyle!!!!!! Pauline loved the neighbors immediately!!
