Paul Johannes Van Zijn

Paul Johannes Van Zijn was born on March 23, 1965 Amsterdam, Netherlands and lost his battle with ALS on February 14, 2025 in his home in Oakland, California.

Paul was an accountant, businessman, a musician and a philanthropist. He honed his skills following in his father’s footsteps working for the AH corp.

Throughout his harrowing battle, he, and his wife Anneke, began their philanthropic organization, Environmental Solution, as a way of leaving a legacy.

He is survived by his wife, children and his adult son.
