Celebrating the Life of
October 8, 1947 — April 19, 2023
Olga Favrow Botello, of Largo, Florida, died unexpectedly on April 19, 2023 from a stroke. She was only seventy-five years old. The family is deeply sadden by her sudden death. Olga was born on October 8, 1947, to Joe Botello and Santo’s (Sandy) Aguirre Ruiz. She attended Fulmore Middle School and lived in Austin, Texas where she spent her formative years. Years later, re-married she resided in Dortch’s, North Carolina and then onto Clearwater, Florida where she lived the remainder of her life.
Olga was a small business owner – she owned and operated many businesses over the years and although she enjoyed work her greatest pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She considered that her greatest purpose in life. She was an artist and ran an interior design and decorating business for many years. She went on to help design hotels and commercial properties as well as homes. She later got into real estate.
In addition to running her businesses she spent much of her time helping others as well as her church. Over the years she was a member of many organizations and clubs. She loved Clearwater and Clearwater Beach and moved there in 1986.
Everyone who really knew Olga knew how kind she was. She was full of thoughtfulness, joy and positivity. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends. We will miss her dearly.
