Norma Edwinna Hall, affectionately known as "Momma Wendy," passed away on December 30, 2024, in Greenville, South Carolina, at the age of 57. Born on September 5, 1967, in Greenville, Wendy brought warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin L. Taylor; mother, Linda Long Taylor; sister, Tammy Renee Perry; and brother, Bobby Long. Wendy is survived by her devoted spouse, Billy Hall; her children, Joshua Hall (Crystal) and Damian Southerland (Shawna); her treasured grandchildren, Dominic, Lilah, and Mia; and her sister, Crystal Taylor Cantrell.
Wendy was a woman of deep faith whose generosity knew no bounds. She had an extraordinary gift for making others feel valued and heard through heartfelt conversations and acts of kindness. Her cooking brought comfort to many, and her hugs were legendary for their warmth and are unforgettable. Above all else, she loved God, her family, and her friends with an open and unwavering heart.
Those who knew Wendy will find solace in life’s simple beauties that she cherished—a purple sunset, a rainbow after the rain, the wagging tail of a dog, or the timeless melody of "What a Wonderful World." These moments will forever serve as gentle reminders of her loving spirit and may the memories bring smiles to carry her memory forward.
A celebration of life will be held privately for close family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to honor Wendy’s legacy of kindness and love to CashApp $nubfire or directly to Damian and Josh.
