Michael Robert Bachelder

Michael Robert Bachelder, 73 of Ames, Iowa went to be with the Lord on Tuesday July 30, 2024 at Mercy One Medical Center in Des Moines.

Michael was born in Bath, Maine on January 31, 1951. He was a big Iowa State fan even before moving to Iowa only to find out he was going to be living in the same city as the stadium was in.

He would do just about anything for anyone (including giving you the shirt from his own back.)

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and other family members.
