It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael P. Carr, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Michael passed away on October 14, 2024 after a brief illness at the age of 64. Michael prided himself on being a family man and cherished his wife and children more than anything. He was kind and generous, and always up for a great conversation or the occasional debate. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Maureen T. Carr of Aiken, SC, Tara Lazarski(Matthew) of Newburgh, NY and Lauren Carr of Gardiner, NY ;his step-daughter Nancy Franklin (Paul) of Baldwin, NY; his 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Carly, Nathan, Layla, Greyson, Scarlett, Christopher and Danielle; and his sister Debbie Carr of Yonkers, NY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Theresa Carr and his wife Maureen F.Carr, whom he is now reunited with for eternity.
Michael will be remembered for his kindness and his wit. His spirit will live on in those who knew and loved him.
