Born on September 11, 1983, in Louisville, Melinda carried within her a fierce spirit and a creative heart. Her life was deeply rooted in love for her children. She honored her people and traditions with unwavering devotion, embodying teachings of strength, humility, and a good mind throughout her journey.

Melinda was a proud and devoted mother to her two sons, Henry, 17, and Koa, 5. They were the center of her world—her greatest joy and source of strength. She nurtured their spirits with care and intention, instilling in them the values of love, honesty, resilience.
