Medardo Rama Nogra

Medardo Rama Nogra, a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, passed away
peacefully surrounded by his family on July 26, 2024, at the age of 81.
Born in Cebu City, Philippines, the youngest of five siblings, Medardo led a life of
service, dedication and love.

During High School as a Boyscout Leader who led a group to the World Jamboree, he
had embodied the values and principles of the scouts by heart and had showed
remarkable leadership early on in life which permeated every aspect on how he lived.
Through his determination and hardwork he then managed to support himself through
college and study Electrical Engineering at Colegio de San Jose Recoletos.

A self made man, Medardo transitioned from working as a company manager to finally
independently owning and founding Airtronics, a successful HVAC and buy-and -sell
electronic business in Cebu City. In search of new opportunities for his children,
Medardo then moved to the United States, where he worked and eventually retired at
Long Beach Unified School District.

Medardo was a dedicated father and a loving family man. He was a pillar of strength
and a source of endless love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Purita Nogra, his
children, Naomi Noreen Nogra-Duga, Gerald Glenn Nogra, Rita Ritchie Nogra,
Osmund Orlando Nogra, Angela Ann Nogra and with his grandchildren MJ, Samantha,
Noah, Caleb, and Leo.

He will be remembered for his sacrifice, kindness, integrity, and unwavering
commitment to his family and community. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who
knew him.

He will be then finally laid to rest at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe
in Cebu City, Philippines.
