Mary Ann Mendenhall

Montclair, Virginia - Mary Ann Mendenhall passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on November 10th 2022 at the age of 64. Predeceased by her beloved parents John David D’Eufemia, Angelina Maria D’Eufemia, and brother Maurice John D’Eufemia. Survived by her daughter Dana Angelina Mendenhall and son Will Thomas Mendenhall. Also survived by her brother David D’Eufemia, sister Juliana Stone (D’Eufemia), sister Kathleen D’Eufemia, brother Joseph D’Eufemia and Joseph’s husband Matthew Adam Wright, sister Lorraine Ndusha (D’Eufemia), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mary Ann was born and raised in East Rochester NY and later spent her teen years residing with her parents and several siblings in Pittsford NY. After high school she attended and was a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester NY and received her bachelors in Social Work. Mary Ann was a loyal and loving mother, daughter, sibling, friend, and colleague. She was a dedicated Office Manager for Alexandrea Center of Dentistry where she was employed for the past 19 years. She loved helping others in her own humble ways and very often provided many lovely meals, and other tasty treats for family, friends, neighbors and work colleagues. Mary Ann was an avid walker/hiker, and loved reading historical books in her spare time. She loved to attend Wolfe Trap and museums with friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Mary Ann's life at Harbour View 13200 Marina Way, Saturday December 3rd, 2022 Woodbridge VA 22191 between the hours of 12 noon and 3 PM.
