Martin J. Pernesky from Niagara Falls, NY, passed away in Homosassa, FL, on May 16, 2025, at the age of 74. He will be immensely missed and laid to rest at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC.
Marty was a retired military man who specialized in aircraft engineering. Marty volunteered at many of the local VFWs. He also retired from Kodak with four patents for his imagination, innovation, and initiative in proprietary technology. He was brilliant and an enthusiast of all things travel. Marty spent many years traveling the US in his RV while being the avid hunter he was. His smart, witty ways won't go relinquished. He is a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Louella Pernesky, along with his children, Scott, Mark, and Wendi Pernesky. He is survived by his loving companion and travel partner, Donna Gibbs; brother, William; son, Wayne Crosby; and two daughters, KatyAnn Lipome and Kimberly Pernesky, along with twelve grandchildren. (Krystal, Samantha, Cody, Ayla, Daniel, Nina, Amber, Olivia, Alyse, Emma, Chase, and Lauryn).
