Never a dull moment if Malcolm was in the vicinity! So many memories, good times, and most of all laughter. One day I get a random phone call from Malcolm, who only minutes after posting a picture on Facebook, asking if I was in NOLA or if it was an old picture. I confirmed that I was there and a couple of hours later Malcolm, Justin, and I were dancing in the middle of Bourbon Street. Good times!! 🕊️🙏🏽

You will be so missed, seeing you grow up in church to become a great young man doing well for yourself, it’s been years that I have not been around but at least I got to see you at work a couple months ago, until we meet again

You will be missed….. We didn’t spend a lot of time together because of distance and living in different states, but just seeing the pictures of you with family and your children, you certainly was a good guy and I will miss you cuz 💕 I look forward to the time when I will see you again and we can catch up on so much. I remember the first day, I met Baby, Malcolm Sanders. I was summoned to my Fiance's, Grandmother's House for Dinner. I was scared as shit. My Fiance Mother had twelve brothers and sisters. All of them, and their kids were coming to dinner. Young Malcolm was a baby, sitting in the high chair at the kitchen table. All I could do, was focus on his big fat cheeks. Her family questioned me, like I killed a MF in Baltimore. Lol. I tried to ignore them, because Baby Malcolm had me smiling back, and forth at him. That kid, has always been a symbol of Hope. He was the youngest boy, of all the many cousins. He tried to find his place, amongst Giants. The shortest dude, with the biggest smile. He was a protector of his Mother, and Sisters. I will always love that Man. God always teaches me something, when young people pass away. Most of the time, it's Patience. I never questioned how someone died, or even their age. It’s about understanding their Gift, and did I receive the Gift from God. Everything that God creates, is for a Purpose. What was Malcolm's Purpose? We went to the same high school, and college. We were Medics in the Army also. We both had Government Jobs. We were on the same path, at different times. What was Baby Malcolm's Purpose? I pray for his soul, and his beautiful family. Truly I am at a loss for words and realizing this loss does not feel real. I can say gone too soon but we know God is the best of planners in this cycle called LIFE. May God's comfort and peace be with Malcolm's family, his daughter, and host of friends. May he be celebrated and remembered as the joy of life that he was to everyone who knew him. An honest man with a uncanny sense of humor who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Amen and Asé
