In loving memory of Madeleine C. Wilkins, who departed this world on May 4th, 2024.
Born on February 9th, 1934, to Francis and Marie Balling, Madeleine lived a life defined by her unwavering strength, independence, and unapologetic nature.
Madeleine's journey was marked by her fierce independence, a trait she carried with her until the very end. She was a take-it-or-leave-it kind of person, unafraid to speak her mind and stand firm in her beliefs. Strong-willed and opinionated, she approached life with a blunt honesty that both challenged and inspired those around her.
In her lifetime, Madeleine was preceded in death by her sister Margaret, her son Scott, and her granddaughter Lisa. She is survived by her sister Frances Shore, her children Paul (Margaret), Frances, Linda, and Daniel (Theresa) and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
As we say goodbye to Madeleine, let us celebrate the vibrant life of a woman who lived on her own terms, leaving an indelible mark on all who crossed her path.
