"For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's"(KJV). It is with deep sorrow that CT 123, Abuakwa of the Noble Order of the Ladies of Marshall present this tribute in honor of MRL Sis Alice Stella Ayebi. It is extremely difficult to accept this cold reality of this painful death, but as it is often the case, no one ever expects death and neither understand the circumstances it comes. MRL Sis Alice Stella Ayebi played a vital role in the life of CT 123, Abuakwa. She was the then Grand Lady, who consecrated our court in December, 2016 and as we mark our 10years anniversary this year, 2026, we were looking forward to celebrating this milestone with her and to consecrate our temple and a church building in December. But as fate will have it, this dream has become a farfetched reality. What then can we say but to pray the Lord God Almighty to keep your soul until we meet again as you join the Noble Order above. However, as it is written in Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord." We rejoice knowing that though we weep over your death you are alive in Christ Jesus. Your legacy of devoted service and respected leadership to our Noble Order and to CT 123 lives on. We pray that your beautiful soul finds eternal rest in the Lord. Fare thee well MRL Sis Alice

A Poem for Mama “Those who are righteous will be long remembered. They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them.” — Psalm 112:6–7 Before these words are offered in her memory, we pause in reverence for a life that became a blessing to many. This poem is a quiet wreath of gratitude, sorrow, faith, and love, laid gently at the feet of Mama, whose gentle light continues to shine in the hearts she touched. A Gentle Light Has Gone Home A gentle light has crossed the veil, not lost, but crowned above; where sorrow’s winds can no longer wail, she rests in endless love. She moved through life like evening prayer, soft-spoken, firm, and true; with grace upon her willing hands, and heaven in all she would do. She bore the weight of many hearts, yet never asked for praise; her life became a quiet psalm, of sacrifice and grace. Now silence kneels where she once stood, and tears fall like the rain; but faith, through grief, lifts up its eyes, and whispers: “Not in vain.” So sleep, dear Mama, sleep in peace, beyond all earthly pain; may angels bear your faithful soul where Christ and mercy reign. And though our arms feel empty now, her love shall not depart; for seeds once sown in holy ground still blossom in the heart. “You have made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in You.” — Saint Augustine
