Celebrating the Life of
September 26, 2015 — April 23, 2026
Luke Gabriel Sapp was born on September 26, 2015 in Safety Harbor, Florida. Luke was a bright and deeply loved boy. Being autistic, Luke had a unique way of seeing the world, and it touched everyone who knew him. He loved playing his piano, rocking, watching his favorite shows and movies, swimming, going to the beach, attending ABA therapy, and church.
On March 15th 2022, At the age of 6, Luke was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer. Despite this diagnosis, God blessed his family with 4 more years with him. Years filled with the trials of cancer, but the joys of sweet memories made together. During Luke's journey he endured chemo, radiation, immunotherapy, hearing loss, 2 bone marrow transplants, multiple surgeries, biopsies and blood transfusions; yet still he kept on going with tenacity and strength which can only be described as supernatural.
On April 23, 2026, At the age of 10, Luke was called to his heavenly home, where he is now at peace in the loving arms of Jesus. While his family grieves his loss deeply, they find comfort in knowing he is happy and completely whole, free from all pain and one day they will be reunited with Luke again.
He is survived by his parents, Kyle & Roxanne Sapp; little sister Olivia Sapp; grandparents, Brian & Valerie Richards, Steve & Lynne Sapp; Deborah & Steve Morris; and Uncle Timothy Richards. Luke has other relatives and close family friends who also share in his loss.
Luke left a lasting light that will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on May 16, 2026 at the Rheba Sutton White Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to a charity in Luke’s honor.
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.
