We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Lloyd L. Golden II, who was born on July 31, 1949 in Granbury, Texas, United States. Lloyd passed away on January 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Lloyd was the beloved son of Lloyd and Ava Golden. He leaves behind a legacy and irreplaceable memories. He was a proud father and grandparent.
Lloyd attended Brownwood High School and later served in the Army during Vietnam, where he dedicated himself to serving his country with honor and bravery. Outside of his professional life, Lloyd enjoyed hobbies such as wood carving and resin casting. He had a creative spirit and a passion for crafting beautiful pieces with his hands.
Lloyd will be remembered for his wicked sense of humor, his bass guitar and his unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be deeply missed. He leaves behind three children: Tiger Golden, Sabrina Stauffer and Georgetta Prager. He also leaves behind grandchildren and other family who loved him dearly.
He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 at 1:00 PM CST. His graveside service will be held at Eastlawn Memorial Cemetery in Early, Texas and will only be reserved for close friends and relatives.
