
Celebrating the Life of
November 20, 1956 — May 13, 2025
At 6:45 a.m. on May 13th Linda Holden Givens passes away with her daughter by her side unexpectedly to cancer. She leaves behind her only biological daughter Alegra. Husband Milton of 29 years August 17th and two step children. Also survived by this unexpected loss is her mother Sandra Browne, 3 Siblings Deborah, Joan and David, Holden. Half brother and sister Eric and Darrel Holden, and wife of David Holden Step-mother Angie.
Linda attended Franklin High school graduated class of 74'.She proudly attended the University of Washington. Of course this was not enough, Linda continued her education by getting her masters.
A lover of history, the human experience and genetics, she used this to write two books about her family. She loved engaging in others history helping them find there roots at the same time.
She loved being active and outside, walking and running in the woods smelling the mesmerizing Washington air. A lover of roller skating, she could cut a rug in the skating rink.
strong willed, hard working, if she at all called you family or her friend then she ment that.

Thank you for being patient during this time of loss, Linda( my mother ) was a pillar in our family and the loss has hit our family hard and her tragic passing has affected everyone.
SO we will be celebrating her life with colors and music, laughter, and stories. Bring your best self..... she would want that

Seattle Drum School-
Hello and happy summer everyone!! thank you for your time and patience everybody, finally a place and a day has been chosen. I'm pleased to say the memorial will be at the Seattle Drum School. The set up is for interaction, dancing and live music. I'm over the moon and wanted something different for her. If you can't attend, their will be streaming opportunities so you don't have to miss a thing. More details to come but in the mean time hours and location are set RSVP
