LINDA SUE GALLOWAY OBITUARY September 16, 1953 ~ November 23, 2023 “May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields and, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.” ~ An Irish Blessing Linda Sue Galloway (nee Wilson), Age 70, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her home in Pennsville, NJ, surrounded by family, after a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Linda was the daughter of the late Willard Wilson and the late Ruth McGowan (Sal). Linda was a care giver and spent most of her life taking care of others. When in good health, Linda could be found in the bingo hall or sitting around the table playing Bunco with her girls and was always in it to win it! Linda loved to go to Seashore Campground in Cape May, NJ with her daughters Christine and Heather and her granddaughter Makenzie. She also enjoyed playing her favorite online game called Yoville and made many friends from around the world, but her long time best friends were Louise Craner, Marie Brown, and Barb Scerati. Linda considered them all as family. She loved hosting holidays and parties with friends, family and neighbors and especially loved Thanksgiving. Linda was known for her famous stuffing, that everyone raved about. Her talent was definitely in the kitchen. Everyone loved all the meals she prepared and when you came to visit, you were welcomed with a smile, and you would leave with a full belly. As Linda’s health declined, most of her days were spent at home with her family, her beloved pets, and her long-time companion/caretaker Rich, who was by her side for 28 years. Linda’s family and friends have many fond memories of her, ones they will cherish forever. May we never forget the incredible strength and courage she carried throughout her final days. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, but certainly will never be forgotten. Besides her parents, Linda is predeceased by her Husband of 11 years Henry J. Galloway. Survived by her long-time companion/caretaker Richard Nichols. Brothers ~ Al Wilson (Marian) & Bill Wilson (Linda) Sisters ~ Ruth Gelsinger (Jim) and Carol Wilson Children ~ Christine Wilson (Thomas), Heather Galloway (Jon), Ronald Galloway (Andrea), Brenda Collins (Joe), Patrick Galloway (Alicia), Rachel Black, James Nichols, and Ritchie Nichols (Toni).
