Leon "Droppy" Tyms, born on March 28 1952,in Chicago, IL, passed away on September 1, 2024, in his hometown. He was a beloved husband to Tanya Tyms and a devoted Grandfather to Terrell Tyms and Mario Johnson.
Leon, affectionately known as Droppy by his friends and family, was a caring and compassionate individual. He had a warm smile and a kind heart that touched the lives of those around him. He was an exceptional husband, always supporting his wife in every endeavor.
As a father, Leon was a constant source of love and guidance. He took great pride in his children's accomplishments and was always there to offer his wisdom and encouragement. Terrell and Mario will forever cherish the memories they shared with their father.
Leon is survived by his kids, Gary Tyms and Mary Franky, who were blessed to have him as their Father. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
