It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Krysten Emilia Flores, also known as “kryssie” and “krys” who left us far too soon at the age of 21 on April 27th, 2024. Krysten’s bright spirit, boundless energy, and infectious enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born on October 8th, 2002, Krysten was a beacon of light in her family, school, and community. Her radiant smile and positive attitude could light up any room, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a passion for fitness and health that was inspiring to all. Krysten was an avid runner, and a regular at the local gym, where she motivated others with her commitment and enthusiasm.
Krysten graduated from University in December of 2023, with a degree in biology. She excelled in her pre-med studies and was preparing to start medical school in the fall. Krysten had a special gift for working with children and dreamed of dedicating her life to caring for them as a pediatrician.
Krysten’s warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering commitment to helping others will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Krysten’s love for fitness extended beyond personal achievements. She was always eager to encourage her friends and family to join her on hikes, bike rides, and yoga sessions. Her dedication to a healthy lifestyle was matched only by her kindness and generosity.
Krysten had a unique ability to make everyone around her feel special and valued, always offering a listening ear, a warm hug, or a word of encouragement. Krysten brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.
A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Krysten is survived by her parents, Avery and Mateo Flores, her younger brother, David, and her grandparents, alongside numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory forever.
Krysten’s vibrant spirit and zest for life will remain in our hearts forever. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love, joy, and inspiration will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she touched.
Although Krysten had no children of her own, she was a devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews, always spoiling them with love and attention.
Tragically, Her life was cut short due to a car accident. While we mourn the loss of such a vibrant soul, we take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.
Krysten will be remembered for her positive energy, generous spirit, and infectious smile. She touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
