Celebrating the Life of
July 14, 1961 — August 10, 2024
Our dear sister Keonaona passed away on August 10,2024 after a sudden onset of severe illness. She was a strong willed woman who lived life on her own terms. She travelled the world and touched many lives forging lifelong friendships along the way. It's hard to believe she's not with us anymore but we may all take comfort in knowing she is now at peace.
She was predeceased by her loving parents George and Luella (Kaumeheiwa) Peterson. She leaves behind her older sister Betty Ann Perez her husband Ralph and their children Luella, George, and Ralphi, her younger sister Pauahi Godbout her husband Tony and their children Jennifer and Matthew, her brother Benjamin his wife Annmarie and their children Amanda and Jacob, her dearest friends Patricia Steen, Peter Hickmott and their son Ben - words alone cannot express our gratitude for the care provided to her by Pattie and Peter during her final days, and her many extended family members and friends spread around the globe.
Our hope is that all who knew and cherished her may have the opportunity to share here in this celebration of her life.
Please share a photo or video, or post a heartfelt condolence to the family.

Keonaona was always right there for me.

She had the best laugh and smile! This is a pic of Keonaona, one of my oldest friends, with my wife’s oldest friend, whom she knew from kindergarten. These pics are from my wedding in 2018, Provincetown library.
