Karl and I were performing in Enchant. He was also a guest on my podcast promoting his book.
Karl, sharing his insights and genius one last time. It was an honor to know him and see him in action. FLY HIGH dear friend.

Karli was my sister's boyfriend. This picture was taken on my parent's balcony in Upper Austria. Probably around 1964

Karl and I at a performance of The Tempest in 2023 with the Nevada Shakespeare Festival. He was an incredibly talented artist and even better friend. My condolences to his family, friends and colleagues. We love you Karl! Until we meet again.

Celebrating Karl’s 64 birthday . I’m so grateful life brought us together… for the friendship, the support, the creative days, and the moments we shared around the table. For his kindness. His openness. Karl was the kind of person you never had to ask. He was always ready to help, and be there for you. I will always carry that with me.

This was probably in 2000, Karl & I were visiting a horse ranch & he was playing w the bulldog of course.

Hard to believe this was just over a year ago. It was such a pleasure and great fun to work with Karl. 😢

I met Karl just last year tho I heard of his name in the past as being one of the most whimsical artists. I’m grateful we got to share a summer together. This was us, the Keepers for Meow Wolf’s installation called Phenomenomaly! Karl, we’ll miss you! Your spirit will absolutely live on within our keeper family. I hope you’ll continue to dance through the cosmos.

Just one single moment from so very many moments dear Karl reached out to make me laugh and smile. Karl = One absolute LEGEND and TRULY BEAUTIFUL SOUL. I feel so incredibly privileged to have known you my beautiful friend. Rest easy for now Karl and I’ll see you on the other side. ✨🙏❤️🙏✨

Karl and I initially met back in 2015 through a Viewpoints movement workshop organized by Kate St. Pierre. When I learned who he was, I was starstruck - the ORIGINAL Green Lizard from Mystere was here, creatively moving and exploring with us? I couldn't believe it. Karl is the kind of person who radiates a vibrant, positive spirit, and I felt it from day 1. We stayed in touch and had the chance to work together again at Meow Wolf last summer. I learned so much from Karl and the way he lived his life over the years. He is a true inspiration to me, and I'm so grateful to have known him and shared time on this earth with him.

Karl in a rehearsal for 1230 in August of ‘23. We performed a clown piece called Das Schnitzel Brothers, pretending to be modern dance students and interpreted a poem by Rilke.

From Phenomenomaly at Omega Mart last summer :) our "Elder Keeper Karl" had the most incredible presence in the show.
