June 1, 1959 — June 28, 2025
Julie Anne Mode, a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother, passed away on June 28, 2025 from complications associated with Glioblastoma brain cancer. Julie was preceded in death by her Mother, Shirley Mae Gourley; and her Sister, Lisa Amber Osorio. They passed in 2007 and 2008 respectively. Julie is survived by her Brother, Brandon Wayne Gourley; and her two Sons, Cameron Dean Mode, and Cody Wayne Mode. She is also survived by her Grandchildren: Beau, Sun, Everett, Scarlet, and Keiran; from her Son Cody and his wife, Learose; as well as Mallory; from her Son Cameron and his wife Evelyn. Julie is also survived by her Step Father, Darrell Gourley. Julie’s career spanned many decades, and she held many roles. Some of these included: Entrepreneur, creating and selling craft goods with her business, Everlasting Impressions; Paralegal; and Store and Restaurant Manager. Julie enjoyed many aspects and activities of life. She loved raising and caring for cats and dogs. Julie loved all animals, and liked to explore nature and the outdoors by spending many hours walking and hiking. Julie loved gardening, and she canned many fruits and vegetables. She was a great cook, and no one left her table hungry. Julie loved flowers, and she kept turtles and frogs as pets. Julie cared deeply about helping others. She was absolutely dedicated to care for her family, and many times went without to assist them. Julie was a dedicated Caregiver for many years for her Mother. She also was an advocate and helper for many friends and neighbors. Julie is dearly missed by her family. Her services were held at her Burial Site in Roseburg Oregon, where She was born on June 1, 1959. Julie’s body rests at Roseburg Memorial Gardens near her beloved Aunt and Uncle, Velma and Robert Barrett, whom She experienced a very close relationship with. Julie was baptized at her Mother’s Church in Roseburg, North Roseburg Evangelical Free, where her Mom was a Charter Member. Julie is most certainly very happy to be re-united with her Mother and Sister, as well as her Grandparents in Heaven.
