Judy Higgins (née Laird), aged 75, passed away on May 15, 2024, in Katy, Texas. Judy was a vibrant and joyful presence, often described as the life of the party. Her radiant personality brought warmth and light to all who knew her.
Judy’s passion for jewelry making was matched only by her love for her family. She cherished the time spent creating beautiful pieces of jewelry almost as much as the moments shared with her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Shamaly (Mike Shamaly) and Diane Hunt (Eric Hunt); and grandchildren, Cheryll Blandino (Logan Blandino), Sara Shamaly, Erin Hunt, and Connor Shamaly. Judy's legacy of joy and creativity will live on through her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be dearly missed.
