Obituary
SKOWHEGAN: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved, Judith Ann (Wise) Lizotte 85, of Skowhegan, Maine, at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home on March 5, 2023. Judith was born on April 21, 1937 to William H and Ruth E. (Ketchum) Wise. Judith graduated from Skowhegan Area High School. She attended Westbrook College and also graduated from Kennebec Valley Technical Institute for Health Occupations in 1976. She enjoyed Hospice work and enjoyed volunteering and joining various groups. The Red Hat Society was one of her favorites. She loved the color purple, a great joke and her family and friends. She married Joseph O Lizotte on April 12, 1958. They spent 64 years together until his death in 2022.
She is survived by her son, Craig and wife Linda Lizotte of Skowhegan, Maine. Brother, William Wise of Gorham, Maine. Sister-in-law, Anita and husband Carroll Rousseau from Knoxville, TN. Grandchildren, Craig Joseph Lizotte of Tampa, Florida and Katelynn and husband Caleb Foster of Mercer, Maine, many nieces and nephews .
She is predeceased by her parents, husband, son, Stephen C Lizotte, sister-in-laws, Roberta Wise, Marie Jeanna Marcella and Mary Joan Lizotte.
A grave side service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Augusta, Maine at a later date. Cremation was done by Dan and Scott Adams Cremation in Skowhegan, Maine.
