I am deeply sorry for your loss. Josh was an incredible nurse, a wonderful friend, a devoted father, and a loving husband. He was one of the most flexible and knowledgeable nurses I’ve had the privilege of working with at Hillsboro Medical. No matter where we needed him, Josh never hesitated to step in, always putting his patients first. His sense of humor was unmatched; he could always bring a smile to your face and made everyone feel included. He will be greatly missed.
I've known Josh since he was a little kid. He was well-mannered, good natured and easy to talk with. I admired his achievements as an Eagle Scout, Lifter on the Tillamook Cheer Squad. I was not surprised when he became an EMT and nurse. He had all the qualities that would be an asset to anyone he cared for and worked with. He will be missed by so many. I am so sorry for your loss.
Of all the people I ever worked with at the facility, you were one of my favorite. You were so loved and will be missed tremendously.
I remember the first time I met Josh. He was doing one of his paramedic clinicals at Santiam Hospital. It was one of my last shifts working there before starting work in Tillamook. We didn’t chat long but I remember how excited he was to finish paramedic school and start his career. Josh soon finished and it wasn’t long before we were both working as medics in Tillamook. I remember his kind bedside manner and dedication to his family and faith. I am so grateful for the time I worked with, and knew, Josh.
