John Russell

John A. Russell, age 58 of Harriman, TN, formerly of Irving, TX, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. Preceded in death by his father Tony Russell of Mabank, TX, mother Karen Caldwell of Irving, TX, brother Jackie Russell, stepmother Lee Dudley, and grandparents Scottie and Oleta Dudley of Irving, TX, Edward and Mary Ellen Caldwell. He was grown but never grew up, with his love of comics, toys and superheroes and he taught everyone he loved to love them too. He loved music with a passion but couldn’t carry a tune although he always said he should have been a rock star. Like a rock star he lived fast and hard but loved just as hard. He was funny as could be and always kept the people around him laughing and smiling. He will be greatly missed by his childhood friends, Lazy Days friends, and most of all his family.
