Celebrating the Life of
September 6, 1959 — July 12, 2025
John Anthony Fabrizio, 65 years old, passed away in Cave Junction, OR on July 12, 2025 after a courageous battle with epilepsy.
Born September 6, 1959, in Denver, CO to parents Melvin and Jackie Fabrizio. John attended Broomfield High School with the class of 1977 and was a long time Broomfield resident before moving out of state.
John is survived by his children,Terry (Chip), Tina (David), Johnny (Claire), and Sarah (Jared); seven grandchildren, Giovanni, Jaidyn, Giuliana, Vito, Aria, Jaxson, and Scarlett; and his siblings, Terry, Cherie, Tom, Jackie, Pam, and Danny. He was preceded in death by his parents.
John had a heart bigger than anyone we’ve ever known. Always showing up for people, no matter what they needed or who they were. His greatest pride was his family, and if you asked him about his biggest accomplishment, he’d tell you without hesitation: his kids. A lover of classic rock, blues, and anything paisley, he had a style and soul all his own. He had a deep appreciation for life’s simple pleasures: casting a line on a peaceful day, tending to his roses with patience and pride, or sipping coffee on the porch. He was a collector of coins, of memories, and of moments with the people he loved most.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2025. It will be held at North Midway Park - Girl Scout Shelter located at 1279 W Midway Blvd, Broomfield, CO 80020. We ask that everyone please wear paisley clothes for the Celebration of Life. We will have the infamous Fabrizio spaghetti, sides, and sweets, so please RSVP below, so that we can make sure to have enough for everyone.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.

Johnny was a good soul, he was always the first to recognize you and yell your name across a crowded room. He always had conversation, and it was never dull. His stories were always full of life. I will miss him, but also know we will all gather at our lockers once again. Peace go with you my friend.
John was an amazing individual just like his children! I was not close to John but he was always aware of all things that would affect his children! Terry, my heart goes out to you, I knew you better than your siblings, and just like your dad, you are truly amazing too! May God be with you in this most difficult time! We will all pray for you during this tragic time! Know that he is in a better place where God needed him! God Bless all of you!

Deepest sympathy and condolences. I spoke with Johnny the day before he passed away for the first time in a few months and we had a great conversation and spoke for about 45 minutes. He will be missed. Rest in peace Johnny.
Our deepest sympathies to all of John’s children, grandchildren and siblings. We are so sorry for your loss. We have known Johnny for so long and not once were you ever around him that you didn’t see that warm smile or hear that infectious giggle. We pray that God grants each of you peace and comforts you with all the wonderful memories of your loved one.
Dear Sarah, Terry, Tina and Johnny… That was the most beautiful touching tribute to your dad that I have ever seen! You guys should be very proud and you obviously inherited your father‘s loving heart and his compassion.
Show your support by sending a sympathy gift or making a donation.
