March 22, 1989 — January 10, 2025
Jethro Bell, 35, passed away on January 10, 2025, in Sarasota, Florida. Born on March 22, 1989, in Tampa, Florida, Jethro lived a life marked by devotion—to his family, his faith, and his country.
After graduating from high school, Jethro enlisted in the United States Navy, where they served honorably for four years as a Machinist's Mate. His time in the Navy was distinguished and decorated, reflecting a deep commitment to service and discipline. Following his military service, Jethro pursued a civilian career by earning an HVAC Career Certificate from South Florida State College. He went on to build a professional life in the HVAC industry, applying his technical skills with dedication and integrity.
Jethro was a devout Catholic who found strength and community through faith. Alongside his wife Alexa and son Jethro Bell II, they attended Mass weekly and actively participated in many activities within his parish community at Holy Family. His Jethro spiritual life was a cornerstone of his identity and guided them in all aspects of daily living.
Family was at the heart of everything Jethro did. A loving husband to Alexa Bell and a devoted father to his son Jethro Bell II, Jethro cherished every moment spent with his family. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines at a soccer game or enjoying movie nights at home, they embraced each opportunity to create lasting memories with those they loved most.
Jethro also found joy in outdoor adventures and sports. They were an avid fan of baseball and soccer and enjoyed hiking and swimming whenever possible. These hobbies reflected Jethro's energetic spirit and love for life's simple pleasures.
Jethro was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Acosta Bell. Her memory lives on through the love of Alexa and Jethro Jr., as well as through all who had the privilege of knowing them.
