June 14, 1959 — February 11, 2024
Jeffry Lynn Campbell, age 64, of Council Bluffs, Iowa entered into eternal rest on February 11th, 2024. He was born on June 14th, 1959, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Alice and Arthur (Bud) Campbell. Jeffry was raised in Iowa on his family's farm and graduated from Malvern Community High School in 1977. He also attended Northwest Missouri State University and University of Nebraska at Omaha. Jeffry was an adoring husband of his wife, a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a wonderful friend who brought intelligence, humor and acts of kindness to everything he did. Jeffry worked as a boiler engineer for 30+ years at Richard Young Hospital and Jennie Edmondson Hospital till finally retiring from Harrah's Casino due to his diagnosis of ALS back in March of 2021. Jeffry had a huge passion for armory. He would participate in competitions and enjoy his yearly season of deer hunting. His most memorable deer that he named and still hangs on the wall to this day is Dennis.
Jeffry leaves behind a wife Claudia Campbell. He also leaves behind 4 children, Elizabeth White, Alicia Campbell, Jared Campbell and Sarah Campbell and he was a grandfather to 6 grandchildren. He also leaves behind a sister and 2 brothers: Deblia (Dave) Henderson, Darrel (Marie) Campbell, and David (Peggy) Campbell along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many friends.
