Celebrating the Life of
September 15, 1953 — September 22, 2024
Jeanne Roseanne Fravel died peacefully at home lovingly surrounded by her family in the early hours of Sunday, September 22, 2024. Much loved wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend... hairdresser! Our Jeanne was a big personality with an even bigger heart! Talented, determined, hard working and driven. She knew from a very early age, after her mother cut her hair (it was bad!) that she wanted to be a hairdresser. She became a stylist and eventually a very successful owner of her own salon, Je Ani Salon and Day Spa. With the help and support of her husband, Robin, of over 50 years, she thrived and delighted in making her clients look their very best. It brought her so much joy! She was always the life of the party. Wether it was playing poker with her large extended family, gambling at the casinos, or camping in the fall among the turning leaves, she loved sitting by a campfire with a cold beer. You always knew Jeanne "was in the house" because you could hear her! She inherited a love of flowers and gardening from her father, Henry. Every house she lived in she spent countless hours creating beautiful landscapes, so proud of what she could create with the just the dirt. She was a red headed force of nature, always spoke her mind and was loved by more people than she will ever know.
Pre-deceased by her parents Henry and Jean Filippi, her oldest brother Joseph H. Filippi, and her beloved sister Annette Filippi-Patterson. Survived by husband Mark Robin Fravel, daughters Alicia Fravel-Kraft and Alayna Jean Fravel, grand daughters Zoe and Chloe McCann, and Grace Evans.
